2021 FILC Virtual Reunion- February 5th 3pm-5pm
Due to COVID-19, FILC 2021 in-person conference has been changed to a FREE Virtual Reunion. Scheduled for February 5th from 3pm-5pm, with past attendee and Peer Leader Sane Haidara (from Timbuktu, Mali) as guest speaker.
This two-hour event will allow past participants and advisors to reminisce on FILC over the years and share experiences. In addition to sharing our success and narrative, participants are encouraged to share the impact FILC has had on their professional and educational endeavors. We welcome past and future attendees to attend and network!!
About the Speaker:
Sane Haidara graduated from St. Petersburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Administration and then went on to graduate from University of South Florida with a Master’s in Public Administration. While at both SPC and USF Sane was active in clubs and organizations participating in FILC as a Peer Leader and receiving many awards and scholarships. Since completing his Master degree he has returned to his home country, Mali, and set up a non-profit organization ( Association pour le Développement Communautaire au Sahel (ADCS)) to improve his community (Timbuktu and the Sahel) by promoting: Education, Healthcare, Solar Power, and Conservation.
