We are Accepting Conference Proposals

The 2024 FAIE Conference will have multiple blocks of concurrent breakout sessions. We are soliciting proposals in the areas of:

  • Student/Scholar Advising,
  • Education Abroad,
  • Admissions,
  • TESOL/English Language Programs,
  • Community Programming,
  • K-12, and those that are of shared interest.

Deadline Extended!
Due: December 1, 2023


We encourage you to consider presenting a session! Please use the link above to access the proposal form. You are welcome to submit more than one proposal. FAIE encourages collaboration among schools.

This year, FAIE will offer a discounted conference registration rate of $130 for all presenters!


Conference Schedule

The FAIE Annual Conference features two days of activities for international educators. The first day, Thursday 2/15, will include our Pre-Conference Workshops during the day (separate registration required), a Featured Session from the FSU International Ed team, and an Opening Reception in the evening. Friday 2/16 will be a full day of sessions, the FAIE general body meeting, and a post-conference happy hour.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Workshops are selected from the NAFSA Core Education Program.
Each workshop costs $275, which can be added to your conference registration or purchased separately. Click on the workshop titles below for more information about each one.

*Note: Workshops are subject to cancellation based on enrollment. A refund will be given if a workshop is canceled.

Those attending pre-conference workshops can purchase a Visitor’s Permit for $5. Park in the TRADITIONS WAY GARAGE in a red or white space.
